Pool Rules

Pool season runs from Memorial Day weekend through September 30th. Violation of Pool Rules may lead to Suspension of Pool Privileges There is No Lifeguard on Duty - Swim at Your Own Risk Pool hours are from 7am to 8pm Off Season or After-Hours Use of the Pool is Strictly Prohibited A.ROA members must accompany their guests, and all must always display an ROA recreation band. ROA members are responsible for ensuring that all guests are aware of and abide by the rules. B.No streetwear or casual clothing is to be worn in the pool. ROA reserves the right to remove an individual for any conduct that poses a safety risk to anyone in the pool area, for any immoral, improper, unlawful, or offensive behavior or any behavior which becomes an annoyance or a nuisance to anyone in the pool area. C.NO Glass Containers allowed inside Pool Enclosure. D.NO Smoking Allowed inside the Pool Enclosure. E.Responsible use of alcoholic beverages is allowed, however anyone consuming alcohol irresponsibly or appearing to be intoxicated will be asked to leave. No illegal substances are allowed. F.Only small flotation devices are allowed. G.Maximum number of people allowed in the pool is 15. H.A first-aid kit and phone for emergency 911 calls only is located inside the lower-level clubhouse door. I.The life ring, life pole and safety rope are only to be used in case of emergency. These are not toys and are required by DHEC. The pool safety rope MUST be always left in place. J.No Diving, no running, or rough play allowed. K.Persons with any type of communicable disease, skin, eye, ear, nasal infections, diarrhea, or nausea are NOT to enter the pool. L.Animals and pets are not allowed inside the pool enclosure unless they are registered service or emotional support animals. M.Use of profanity and disturbing the peace will not be tolerated. Music should be kept at a low volume to not disturb others enjoying the pool. Headsets or ear buds are recommended. N.Children under the age of 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Children who are not toilet trained are required to use water-proof pants or diapers while in the pool. These rules are designed for the safety and welfare of all who wish to enjoy the pool. Violations should be reported to the management or any ROA Board member. Violations may lead to the suspension of pool privileges.
